Actually, Tom, my grandchildren ARE reading this, and they are seeing the proof of what 'nanna' tells them hit the headlines and news almost on a daily basis.

They know that 'nanna' does not lie to them, that she has a long history (related to them by their mothers, nanna's daughters, with what I believe to be pride) of loving her God, her family and her country, in that order. They are seeing that the issues that nanna was concerned about a year ago are now issues that have taken on larger significance and they understand that she does not do what she does to frighten them, but to get them to think for themselves.

They know that when we sit around the table, peeling apples for Cinnamon Apples (with lots of real butter and sugar because we don't buy into a lot of the crap some use to try and scare others into obedience, besides it just tastes better) and nanna explains about Islam and why it is not a "race", and that Islam does not "mean" peace, and that Islam is not really a religion (how it does not meet the criteria to qualify), that helps them become stronger.

It helps them be strong enough so that when the time comes to come home from a day at school and tell mom and dad and nanna that they were the only ones in their class to say (politely and respectfully, because teachers are adults) that they would not be participating in the "Let's all learn about Islam" class. I like to believe that it would be because of nanna that they might be able to respond that they "might like" it , but, "WHEN" was teacher going to have the "Let's all learn about Christianity" class, and they could think about the "Islam" class right after that one? And because that school has "met" nanna before, may have had something to do with why they would not be sent to the principal, nor were they "dressed down" in front of the rest of the class, nor did they receive poor or failing marks. After all, it's silly to think that something like "that" could ever occur in an American class room, so why even discuss it?

So, expressing concerns, looking realistically at what some very real results "might" be (even if not probable), and considering alternate options and responses, there is no reason to shrink from that activity. Indeed, wouldn't it be the more prudent course to have at some time at least considered the options on a "what if" scenario, than to be one of those "deer in the headlights" who simply stand there saying "On my goodness HOW could this have happened? Who would have believed it could happen HERE??"

So, while it is likely not yet time to high tail it to the secret bomb shelter with the 3 year supply of K-rations (we don't have one, by the way), a bit of time speculating on possibilities can't be a total waste. After all, I'm currently looking at a driver's license picture of a Muslim woman in full coverage burka, explaining that "of course anyone can positively identify me from just my eyes", and reading the story that "back east" (yankees, you know) they have only NOW voted to not let illegal aliens get drivers licenses, but those who already have them won't be able to renew them. /sigh all I can say is "wow, who would have believed that would have happened here??"

I have seen the question asked before and it is a troubling one: If Islam continues unopposed and possibly with the help of our current administration, when America falls, where is there left to run?

It is *just* MY opinion, but I believe that, in order to be FAIR, and to show his support of how wonderful sharia law is, that all 3 of the obaminations, STARTING with the biggest (that would be the big "M") needs to be circumcised. AnnaEsse, you are right, it is the interest taken and added to the principal. This way there is no interest AND (more importantly) it does NOT matter if the borrower makes extra payments or not because it is ALL principal. This means that the sharia bank will always get the full amount of the interest, with no possibility that the borrower can ever reduce or eliminate any of it. Yeah, sharia banks LOVE it, and sharia borrowers are ignorant of doing it any other way.

In Western banking, if you want to save or not pay any or large chunks of the interest on, say, a home loan, then you can make additional payments toward the principal (some people do this with a bi-weekly loan, not the best way to do it, but at least ONE way). Another way is to make additional payments to the principal when you have the money (even $100.00 here and there really add up the saved interest) and at the end of the month in which the additional principal payment was made, the entire loan is forced to re-calculate. Your regular monthly payment does not change, what changes is the amount of interest that is now due. By reducing the principal, you are reducing the amount of total interest you will pay over the life of the loan. Remember, the interest is calculated on how much you owe (principal) so any extra reduction means less owed so less to calculate interest on. I have a lot of experience in just this technique, heheh it is what I do for a living. I show people how to pay off their 20 or 30 year loans in (often) less than 10 years without changing their regular monthly payment or touching the other terms of their loan, without refinancing and without needing to increase their monthly income. If my clients are making their payments now, paying their normal monthly expenses/bills, I am able to show them how to manage their loan(s) and quite literally save tens of thousands of dollars and own their homes free and clear in, depending on the individual, 7 - 9 yrs. It is basic finance, IF you are familiar with the legitimate financing practices.

It seems I have come across this same issue when attempting to make a point by only using the Qu'ran or widely accepted [by muslims] Hadiths. What I hear is that, not only is it "contextual" [even when I quote the entire sura so it is not "out of context"], but then the argument comes that it is not an "accurate" translation [even when I use a translation by the same as used in English speaking mosques].

The argument THEN is, that NO "translation" is ever accurate, because the ONLY true reading of the Qu'ran can be made if it's in arabic. That ANY translation is an abomination, because [don't you KNOW?] that "Allah" ONLY speaks arabic, that is the language he used when he dictated the book to moHAMmed, and any translation is considered to be an attempt to "change" the book and therefore, the translator must be killed for heresy.

Part of the "Plan" is to attack on so many issues, quickly, that SOME of them will slip through. Remember the last part of the "United we stand" quote - "Divided we fall" and we are being divided by so many issues, they all need attention, and those of us who are paying attention will have to choose a few to champion, leaving other equally important issues for others to fight, to keep from being overwhelmed. It is that manner of dividing that is working.
