It's not just the Rocky Mountain news that is dead. But look at the New York times the former big 3 networks and the late author Micheal Chriton predircted this all back in 93.

Alexis why not interview the the CEO of CBL Associates which is the largest REITS in the Southeast. They own large and small properties all over the United States. How do REITS fare in a deep downturn? One thing I can tell you they own Pemberton Mall here in Vicksburg Ms and thier high leases and rent has killed business here. CBL was suppose to have new plans for Pemberton Mall but nothing new hasn't come to fruition since they publicly announced it in the local paper last year. Has CBL lost business in this downturn is what u could look at. Like has their high leases kllled business in thier other properties? Some actually believe they're exploiting Vicksburg Pemberton Mall as tax writeoff. I can honestly tell you no new retail businesses haven't moved into the small mall.

Hey CC
well while you were sick in bed,I came across an interesting story on the web yesterday. Cinemas are beginning to feel the pinch of the recession. Listen movies are recession proof. But whay about the major cinema chains that run the movies? the mulitplexes, stadium cinemas how are they fairing in this climate? I mean the big ones: AMC,Regel Entertainment Group,National Amusements etc. How are thier earnings? have they layed off employees or considering closing some cinemas? Just a thought that crossed my mind. And how new cinema startups fairing in this market too?

could his budget, imaginitive as it is, send this country in chapter 11? Listen even Donald Trump came out this morning expressing the fact that the president is doing the wrong thing in a downturn economy.

AG Cuomo needs to come clean with an explaination,I mean explaination that is more satisfactory to NY Taxpayers. Like why isn't he pursuing cases related to Bernie Madoff,Stamford who committed worst crimes of fraud on investors than going after those who earned bonuses. Madoff and Stamford are far more worst than Thain honestly. He should pursuing Madoff,Stamford than wasting NY Taxpayer's dollars over bonus issues. I believe even lawyers of Law&Order would do a better job than Cuomo could've imagined.

I saw that bit he pulled before congress attacking wall street. Where the president himself made money off the royalities of his own books. Is that hypercritical or what? and not to mention congress needs to get their spending act together.
