I didn't watch it yet, because I am at work, but I read on a gossip blog that he tweeted that he was railroaded into that apology and didn't really mean it.

Who are we to say? I think the voters in Alaska said things very loud and clear. The question is who is Murkowski and who is Hatch to say that they know what is better for the voters than the voters themselves? Obviously had they been satisfied with the job Murkowski was doing, she would have won the nomination. This type of crony-ism is exactly what the people are trying to get rid of. We no longer accept the you scratch my back I scratch yours way of running the country. So I don't see this as GOP cannabilism, I see this as GOP housecleaning.

Par for the course, but regardless of who the MSM wants to blame it is good that we got the job done. These elected officials are listening to the will of the people, so if the MSM needs to stress that Republicans are the party of No, then I say, Good for them. No is what we are asking them to say and No is what they are doing, so they are doing their job.

If I could click on the thumbs up a thousand times I would do so. Your statement was fantastic. I was married to a Navy guy for 10 years. The military owns you when you are on active duty, and again, it is an all-volunteer military. The only thing that matters is the job and that is as it should be. Your sex life has no place on the job (regardless if you are heterosexual or not).

I sure hope so. I agree with nceeno as well, Congress definitely needs a cleansing. I always thought the idea was to change/reform government from the bottom (local) - up (federal). It has only been getting worse on all levels. So lets clean out the top (isn't that what they teach in Colleges "tone at the top") and work it down to every level and bring America back to what it once was. We NEED strong leadership with all the threats we have been receiving (Iran and radical violent jihadists/Islam and radical "peaceful" jihadists who warn that if we do not bend to their will the violent jihadists will take over).

I don't think I read that at all, and being involved with local tea party type groups, I have not seen a single case where that is the attitude. I think that there are those that have an issue with color, but it is more rare than is reported. Go to some meetings, go with an open mind, read the Constitution, look at the garbage that is being shoved down our throats in the form of laws that limit our freedom's, look at the absolute corruption and abuse of power that is more the norm than the exception. That is what the tea party groups are fighting against.

For me, it is the idea that these people use their public access to influence those who idolize them. Unfortunately, too many out there truly believe that these actors are their characters or truly believe that these actors are somehow more intelligent than they are. Certainly not true. So it is annoying and frustrating when they make assinine comments publicly about those they know absolutely nothing about. And that is why I don't support them. There are a lot of really good entertainers out there who are smart enough to do their job (entertain) and leave their personal views to themselves.

I really wish these actors would just act and leave their uninformed opinions to themselves. Do they even realize that the teapartiers are the Americans that are watching and supporting their work. They are offending the very people who support them. I guess when they are all broke out on the street maybe they will get it. Or maybe not. Cause its always someone elses fault.

Since the left is so bent on sueing everyone who they disagree with, how is it that we aren't sueing the media for misinformation or just plain old not doing their job? I don't get it. (I also don't believe in frivolous law suits, but if ever there is a suit that is not frivolous it would be one such as this).

I love that reality show idea. She should pitch it to Kelsey Grammer for his new network. Bet they would air it, and I also bet it would get great ratings!
