Absolutely dead on about all the real estate shows! I think the reason there is so much buzz for this show is because it's one of the only gigs in town! If you are reading this HGTV-Bring back design shows!

Funny-I couldn't tie in Dan's 'Spring' theme to the color palettes at all. Other than the lilac, he used all dark colors. I didn't mind them, but don't sell your design as having a theme it doesn't have, because the judges will grade you accordingly. It's like entitling a book, "great themes in baseball" then writing about tennis...

Sounds like a social disease you get when you spent to much time thinking of conspiracy theories involving Reality TV shows. When you guys figure out who really shot Kennedy, then we'll stand up and take notice. Until then, stop the rudeness. I think half the stuff they do on 'Design on a Dime' look like kindergarten crafts, but I don't go nuts over it...

Actually, Dan may not have a New York City accent, but he still doesn't know an adverb from adjective. And we know he can't count. $5,000? $10,000? Let's just spend $11,000...!

I would have liked to see Lonni and Antonio in the finale. Dan was the guy who did lip service to a green room apology after he signed for that pergola, then tried to weasel out of it in front of the judges to make it look like it wasn't his fault. He's dishonest, and I wouldn't want a dishonest man in my home. His girl's room design you were so enamored with in the finale was an ER visit waiting to happen with that high, narrow bed! No wonder he had to give her a couch to sit on instead of a much-needed storage piece. And all those mirrors in the other room? Gag. If the homeowner gains five pounds, she lose her mind seeing herself reflected in all of that every minute of the day. If Dan had had the Starr house, he would have left the awkward bathroom layout as is because 'it wasn't his job' to fix it. No going above and beyond with Dan. Only do what gets you design brownie points! Now for all of you who crashed on Antonio for not being a team player-let's remember who always pushed to actually COMPLETE the work. Without him to be the backbone on all those team crews, they would never have finished-which was soon proven when the culprits had to do their own work and didn't finish. Instead of praising that, you blast him for not playing nice with the whiners who only want to shop and take credit for the designs. I don't care how well Dan can deconstruct an orchard. No one can live in the white room challenge, and the point of designing a space is so people can live in it. It's their home, not a postcard! Antonio worked with his crew, and they respected him. Those crews complete projects on time and within budget on real projects every day. Dan had no such connection to his crews. He would never be like Candice Olsen carrying chairs up three flights of stairs. He's too 'special' for that. Kim Myles was a hairdresser, and she manages to put together some pretty cool rooms on Myles of Style. Since she's not a designer, perhaps you feel you were robbed in season 2 also? And what about Carter Can? Surely you mustn't watch that 'dumb carpenter' show either. Too bad, because he's a talented guy. And enough with calling Antonio dumb, too. He has an accent-not a learning disability. He used more three syllable words than your buddy Dan. If you wanted a charming host, you should have picked Lonni!
