Behrami's energy is amazing but stats dont lie, he offers nothing in attack either assists or goal scoring. Diamanti has no pace what so ever and will never make a a regular starting position in the premier league. Ideally i would keep Behrami to start all away games where his energy is most effective and Diamanti for free kicks. Obviously we cant afford such luxuries so we should take the money and go for someone like wright phillips who can add to our attack. Saturday against Depor didnt supply one cross i dont see how any of our strikers can score without a decent supply of crosses or incisive passess from midfield. Neither of these two players provide either.

Home grown players do not relate directly to your own club. A home grown player is a player regardless of nationality who has served a minimum of 3 years in a english youth set up before they are 21. Green, Parker, Cole, Upson all fit the criterior.

Hi Iain can i suggest that you add Zola or perhaps a tactics box on player performance blogs so that we can mark the tactics employed. I have now started to doubt some of Zola's decisions before and during games and would like to get other user's opinions without starting lengthy discussions about what we should be doing.

Completely off topic i played golf on a charity day yesterday, Ashton was there with Noble. Deano has a limp worse than long john silver. there is absolutly no way he can be doing any kind of training that involves running, it was very sad to see. The club keep saying that he is following his own personal training programme this cannot be true. it appeared that he is amillion miles away from match fitness.

CH as much as i agree with you that Parker is better off resting, unfortunatly against any Bolton team you need an engine. With Kovac, Stan and Dyer we will get steam rollered. If we want to win Parker has to play.
