the user i was helping with downgrade, were are you in this messy place

josh or something use 2.2.5 to downgrade and 8.2 itunes is fine then use fuzzyband to downgrade baseband to 2.28 (must have bootloader 5.08) (pre august 2008)

is you phone pre august 2008 (bootloader 5.08)

if so go to cydia via wifi and downgrade baseband with a app called fuzzyband

ok lets start

1. use the previous pwnage to make a new custom 2.2.1 ipsw
2. enter dfu mode (using pwnage as a guide)
3. option + click restore and choose 2.21 and downgrade

let me now when you have got this far the system is blocking long posts

are you using pwnage as a guide to dfu and is the phone on while you are attempting dfu and i itunes open while all this is happening?
