It becomes more and more apparent that you really have no idea, do you?

Once again, what must needs be done to protect hearth, folk and freedom is never popular and ever unattractive if your heart bleeds with no point of reference for what it's like to have a "really bad day".
Most of our prisons are frakkin' country clubs! Free room, board, medical care, support for the rest of your life, and heaven forbid a guard looks at somebody sideways! The animals cry brutality! The same animals that are out there murdering, raping, dealing drugs and stealing YOUR hard earned money and stuff! Give me a break!!!!@

The elimination of all vote structured union orginisations, and prohibition on further recruitment activities...

More to come later, right now I'm too torqued about Rick Wagoner being forced to step down.... can't really see straight! I can't believe they feel he's that responsible for our American automaker's woes!

still way less than has been spent in the last 60 days or so! If only we had a crystal ball and knew that's how it would play out eh!

I do not detect the voice of a patriot in your posts... and as Kyle below states, the idea of avoidance of war is for those whose hearts bleed with no point of reference for things that must needs be done to protect hearth, folk and freedom. Patriots die for what they believe in, in hopes that others may begin to see.
Do you disagree with America's entry into WWII? If so, it is evident why you would believe that our current military activities are a lie... There is no reason to retailiate against anyone for the loss of American lives in an attack on US soil. I can't imagine why we would possibly want to protect ourselves from it happening again, and opening ourselves up to take over by an enemy force... I think that I will be perfectly happy to wear a burka or abaya for the resgt of my life!

As Rich so eloquently cites, work conditions in this country have been miserable in the past. Now, however, there are far too many goverment regulatory orginisations at work on every level that insure workers enjoy safe work places, fair wages, and other workplace controls. By the way, we pay for those orginisations with our tax dollars...
So the only effect the unions have on our economy is to raise our domestic product prices, forcing Americans to purchase goods made elsewhere for less, reducing our manufacturing capacity, lowering our gross domestic product, running our greatest US companies into the ground, and in the end forcing our country into a ghost of it's former greatness... Let's make it even easier for them to ruin every company in the USA, sure....

Amen Rich! As a former General Motors dealership employee in a right to work state, I ran up against issues in supply chain and disruptions to our business on a regular basis caused by the unions, both Teamsters and UAW. While some real quality people are employed in union facilities, those same people could get very good pay and benefits with a good company somewhere else. As a manager left responsible for errors up the supply chain, I developed a very low opinion of the "everyday" sort of worker employeed by unions.
Union bigwigs like Gettlefinger will do their darndest to convince anyone who will listen that the unions are essential to the automakers success and continued profit. What they neglect to mention is that the only parties benefiting these days are those same bigwigs (and the politicians with their hands in union pockets). Former union recruiters disillusioned with their jobs will tell you that they are nothing but huge money-generating machines and have the interests of their members in mind NOT AT ALL!
