Thank you so much for commenting! Oh! Believe me. I'm definitely not shutting myself out or closing up. I totally embrace the friendships that God has in store for me.

It's God's design for us to fellowship in this way. I have to be mindful that every friendship won't look the same and each person that enters our lives will be for a different purpose. In all cases it's an opportunity for growth and reflection.

I'm looking forward to seeing how God uses your new section!

Cheryl, I can totally understand that! I've been hurt a time or two. Even with wanting to shut down and not take risk....there's still the longing. God created us for relationships. Sadly, they don't all work out.

I took a minute to think about your comment and thought of how Jesus already knew that he'd be betrayed by one of His friends. He loved him anyway. I'm sure it hurt Jesus, but He didn't allow it to make Him waver in His mission.

I just started reading a book that I won several months ago. Its very timely. God, Grace and Girlfriends by Mary R. Snyder. I think that it'll help me and maybe you! :)

Thank you, Beth! I totally CAN'T relate to once being so organized, but some areas I can see allowing God to move more than others.
I've been praying for accountability with another woman that I can sit face-to-face with to dig into the Word and do the thing!
