The President is a first-rate whiner - he's never been in a position before where either affirmative action policies or the Chicago political machine did not cover up for his incompetence.
Or Kalihiwai Beach, Polihale Beach, and even Hanalei Beach on Kauai.
Asians bullied? Not in Hawaii - here it's the haole who is hassled and discriminated against. Half of the beaches in Hawaii are unsafe for haoles after dark, and haoles are regularly jumped at parties for the crime of being white. If you find this hard to believe, google "kill Haole day" - it's a tradition in the public schools - or read this link from the ultra-left wing Southern Poverty Law Center:

Actually, I did own a highly successful engineering business - I founded it in my living room in 1986 and sold out to the other partners in 2001 and moved to Hawaii. Some of our projects included the Arizona Cardinals Stadium and the Aladdin Hotel in Vegas. Also, I have all of the credits for a MS in Structural Engineering, except the 3 unit thesis.
Regarding government preferences for minorities, you apparently do not realize this also includes Hispanics, Asians, Indians, Native Americans and women besides blacks (but for some reason does not include Middle Easterners). Some of these "minority owned" firms were set up with a token minority as the 51% owner precisely for the purpose of acquiring government contracts.
YOU sound like the bitter loser - what's the matter, did they cut your hours back at McDonald's???
Regarding government work, wrong again. I am a structural engineer and do nothing but private sector work. The federal government work usually goes to minority-owned firms. Here in Hawaii, they used to use kickbacks to get work - until Hawaii elected a Republican governor in 2002.
Sorry, but I have a BS degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA, and have done very well. Business degrees are useful to the extent they focus on accounting and finance - management is a skill learned best on the job.
And you must be clueless about the requirements to teach business and engineering in college - both require degrees in those fields, usually PhDs in engineering.
The new government student loan program contains a provision that if you work for 10 years for the government (local, state, or federal), or an approved public service agency or community organization(ACORN, etc.), your student loan will be forgiven. A whole new generation of parasites who will assuredly vote Democrat will thereby be created.
When I was in college, most professors only taught 2 or 3 courses for 3 hours a week. Being a college professor with tenure is the ultimate government job with respect to dollars earned for time actually worked - makes the 5 highway workers taking turns working one at a time look frazzled and overwhelmed by comparison.
In Arizona, the cost of an in-state college education is approximately 65% subsidized by the taxpayer - why not shift some of the cost to the student, unless they are willing to study in a field that will someday help the private sector - refer to my comment above, i.e., if you want to spend your time and parents money in college studying underwater basketweaving, and partying, then you will pay more than the kid who pulls As in engineering.
Most college students are studying in fields that are intrinsically worthless in the private sector, i.e., liberal arts, women's studies, (insert your deprived minority here) studies and so forth, instead of the physical sciences, engineering or business. Their only hope of obtaining a non-fast food job when they graduate is with a governmental agency, or a private non-profit that is supported by the government through grants or similar funding. In other words, they are future parasites on the back of the producers in the private sector. So screw them all.
