Exactly. I suspect5 Gail goes on location and tapes several videos. I bet on her next visit she'll do the closets, drawers, cupboards, etc. At least I hope so.

What I like best about my tiny new apartment . . . a window over by kitchen sink. Didn't have a window in my Condo kitchen. What I dislike the most is my shower. Small, the water comes out of the shower head full force which makes the curtain liner wrap around me like a shroud. Will buying a new adjustable shower head solve my problem? I would love to replace the curtain with a glass enclosure, but would that be practical in an apartment? Any ideas, fellow bloggers?

I LOVE that corner cabinet. Wish I had it! . . . and the Home that surrounds it, of course.

soneysmom: I've watched that clip over a dozen times and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes and make the hair on my arms and the back of my neck stand up. This time I remembered the dramatic (make that traumatic) moment in the musical when it was sung. Let's give credit to the composer/lyricist (can't remember the names, but French, I think). I love Susan, but don't think she ever topped that performance.

I will try. Maybe you are over thinking the whole thing. It is quite simple. When you filled out the initial form were you able to enter? Did it say "thank you for entering?? If that was OK, you should be able to enter your email address ( just the first letters should be enough) and then start to put in the second email address and every thing else should automatically fill in. It might take a few moments. Hope this helps.

As usual, so well said, Coop. This Dream Home is a gorgeous ski lodge style, just perfect for its location. Linda did a marvelous job, adding modern touches everywhere. If I won it I would sell it for the reasons you mentioned. My Dream Home would be in a warm climate with a pool, and property gently sloping down to a river, lake or ocean. Well, I love sand and shelling, so make that an ocean. I love HGTV for letting us dream!

My move over the holidays was not fun, but it is done. Surprisingly, my tiny apartment has enough wall space to display all my art. Donations turned out to be fun too. A few relatives with tears in their eyes "I remember that" etc. And the lady who is planning a huge sale in the spring to build a kid's park (papers all in order from the city), arrived with her dad and two kids and after loading several boxes took some furniture also.

Sorry, I'm rambling , but I just want anyone else facing downsizing to know it can be a blessing. Everyone loves you, Coop, and reads you. Me too.

dreamgirl: I don't know about the windows opening, but I was pleasantly surprised to see someone press a button and privacy shades came down . Nice touch.

Dear AliB:
So sorry to hear you were under the weather. Hope all is on the mend now. I, too, have been away from the blog for several weeks due to moving over the holidays (which is not the ideal time to move). I quite like my tiny apartment and am slowly getting settled. I am entering daily for the gorgeous DH in Stowe and hope to keep up with the blog starting now. FYI, you make me feel real good. Much love back to you.

My holiday wish? To complete this down-sizing move to my tiny apartment. It is very stressful having to move in winter, over the holidays, but I am thinking positive thoughts. I hope by early January I will be back to normal, having fun with my blogger friends.
Good luck to all who want this beautiful bird. I can picture it on a window sill where the sunlight hits it. I adore my red cardinal flitting around the snow, while his green feathered mate sits quietly. I will miss them.
Have a blessed holiday, dear friends.
