I don't think you were thumbed down for stating that you would care for your child. It's probably for your "holier than thou" approach. I might be wrong, just my thought.
Wow, that's so sad! Hopefully the mom leaves this loser and the kid won't have to see him again!
As much as I wish the Patz family could experience a "Jaycee Dugard"-like ending and that whatever/whoever is in that basement ISN'T him, I know this family needs some closure. I couldn't even begin to imagine the hell of not knowing where your baby is and if it is him down there, at least they could give him a final resting place. My heart breaks for this family!
Heart breaking! It takes a truly sick, twisted, evil monster to do something like this and I think both suspects are perfect candidates for the death sentence! R.i.p Kayla!
She's six! It's one thing for her to cry and stamp her foot, it's another to be KNOCKING OVER FURNITURE! She hurt somebody, what would you like them to do? I truly doubt this experience will prevent her from calling the cops in the future if need be. Then again, based off your very first sentence, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you're defending this little girls bad behavior.
Wow! I would be HUMILIATED if this was my child! Six is definitely old enough to know better. This is actually a really good opportunity for them to teach this little girl about actions vs. consequences and hopefully they can get their heads out of their arses quick enough to see that. The police did nothing wrong. And if princess doesn't like handcuffs, then princess needs an attitude adjustment.
Really? What does it hurt for them to pray for someones well being? If you don't believe in God or prayer, that's your right and I certainly don't hold anything against you for it but to mock someone elses beliefs is rude and disrespectful. It's not hurting anyone, it's not being shoved down your throat. I think you're gonna be ok :)
As a mother who breastfed, I have mixed feelings on this. I think we should be able to feed our children whenever and wherever we need without being hassled. Personally, I had issues with milk production and was told by doctors to go 20 minutes on each side, every time. I certainly don't want to be banned to a corner or a dark room for 40 minutes just so I can feed my child!! With that being said, some women really need to be a bit more modest and less "in your face" when they do it. I took my son to a mall playground once and this lady was breastfeeding with no cover, and when she was done, she left her boob dangling for a good two minutes while she put him in his car seat and yelled at her other kids who were playing! I know it's just a boob, but not something I wanted to see. It was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away no matter how much I wanted to. So yes, lets protect and help our breastfeeding mamas, but maybe we should set requirements on them as well.
Was gonna say the same! Gotta love those squishy cheeks :)
I've followed the story, sugar lips, and I remember they said the brother (who does not live there) may be or may have been in a gang. Don't recall any reports saying the parents (who you're all for deporting) were involved in that activity. And I understand you're done, but have to say I'm a little disappointed you haven't shared why they're "obviously" illegal.
