Kids dont always make the choices you think they will when faced with the actual situation. I blame the adult that put them in the situation to make the decision.

Weapon are generally not registered unless you buy them from a gunshop. When I sold my last handgun 20 years ago I asked the police how to change the ownership and there wasnt even a process, I hear there is one now but it's not required.

How can you say it's the father or uncles responsibility to secure the firearm in the mothers house?
Should the uncle be searching the kids backpack everytime he comes home?
If anyone shoud go to jail its the Mother who had the weapon without the correct controls.

How does a successful Silvertips team justifiy an NHL team? That's like saying because Granite falls has a great football team Everett should get a new NFL franchise.
Peopl are willing to travel to a smaller venue on a regular basis and not spend a fortune, parking at a Seattle game would cost more than the whole night at a Silvertips game.
