True, though I don't think Bad Company 2 is going to be a "port". DICE has been a PC lover from the beginning as has the Crysis team. Though, you are right for 99% of the rest of the industry. But let's not forget the MMO market. There really hasn't been a console MMO that has taken PC gamers away from the PC and onto their 360 or PS3.

I'll have to disagree with you. Companies like Valve and applications like Steam are doing a great job of keeping the PC gamer alive and well. It might not be as thriving as it once was in the 90s but it's still a very good market. And games like this are a prime example as to why. A FPS is always and will always we better on a PC vs console.

Obviously the true test will be when they are both side by side after the game is released.

But, according to the stats you're quoting, it doesn't look too good for the 360 right now. Especially for all those people who are "on the fence".

Well, with the PS3 Slim you'll be saving a good amount of money. Besides with other games like Uncharted 2 and MAG I don't think you'd be wasting your money at all.

Sometimes, but not always. There have been times when demos have been "exclusively" released for one console or the next. Not always for marketing, but there are sometimes as well as there are times when either the PSN or Xbox hamper the release of a demo (or DLC for that matter), so your point isn't without merit.
