I don't know about you folks, but even though I'm not rich, I'd be happy to pay $7000 to live for one more week. I mean, come on - what else are you planning on doing with the cash when you're dead?
I know there are some people who would rather pass that money on to the next generation (after paying any death taxes...), and I respect their choice. But in any case we should value a company (pharma or other) who provides us such options.
