Having worked retail, there are usually plenty of volunteers to cover the needed shifts. Not everyone celebrates all holidays, some don't have family nearby to celebrate with and in this shitty economy, people need the extra money.

I'm not assuming anything, I have been following the story in the local news, not just KSPT since July. Do a little research. Have you heard of google? Try The Hudson Starobservers archives. You cannot read the final outcome of a story and think you have all the info on this whole family history.
How am I defending this behavior? She should have never have gotten her daughter back to begin with.

Where are you getting your info on a murdered baby??? Do a little research before you jump to conclusions, or maybe pay attention to the whole case and not just the end result. There is no baby. This has nothing to do with a baby who by the way, did die but there was no foul play involved.
