Well at least some of them are going back on their defense of Polanski. A bit of shame goes to show they're not completely lost. Still, the damage is done--as well it should be. Hope they learn their lesson from this (pfftt)...no seriously.

Interesting point. I draw and write a comic book series that tends to be on the dark and disturbing side at times. In fact my partner says that with my style, I'm like the Tarantino of comics (right down to the foot shots). I'll admit, I've got a dark side and some dark fantasies but I know where the line is drawn. For all the nasty, anti-social stuff I have my characters do in my stories, there are still consequences. As for my fantasies I keep them in the bedroom where they belong, amongst other consensual, like-minded adults. Didn't mean to let y'all in on more than you care to know about me, but I do want to go on record and say that not all us creative types have sociopathic tendencies. Besides, my material pales in comparison to the real life exploits of both Polanski and Phillips. Geezus.

Sadly, too many people in this country have grown content letting somebody else handle their problems. What ever happened to "the price of freedom is eternal vigilance"? So much for that. Instead, they run to an elected Messiah to solve their issues for them. For example, I work in credit card customer service. I get people every other day telling me "don't make me get Obama on you" or "I thought Obama was gonna fix this". How about this folks--screw Obama, learn to spend money responsibly. In other words: grow the hell up. This is America.

We're supposed to be free, we're supposed to know how to, to quote Dawn of the Dead, "sort our shit out." Too many in this country have forgotten that and worse, they don't care so long as they get what they want. What they don't realize is if they don't shape up, they're going to get what's coming to them and the rest of us get dragged down with them.

So when life deals a bad hand, kick over the card table.

And then, run and ally yourself with the very busy bodies who helped put you in this position in the first place. Good call, kid.

Gotta admit, the left can be pretty clever sometimes. I swear, not to sound like some conspiracy nut, but it's like they've got this Hegelian Dialectic-type scheme going: they create the problem, then tell the saps who's to blame for it (via their media empire). The saps then cry like wusses and demand a solution from the very scum who screwed them over in the first place.

Gotta hand it to them...they know how to play people. Thank God some of them, though, are starting to wise up.

Is this all this woman does now? What happened to your career, Janeane? Don't you have more productive things to do than make an ass of yourself on national television?

"Post again please we need more laughs."

Laughs? This isn't funny anymore, it's downright evil. Seriously, these people are demons run amok. Demons lowering the standards. And these demons better pray to their devil I don't run into them in person. The time for talk has officially ended.

I personally think the time for politeness has ended. In fact, it ended a long damn time ago.
