Hi TG, great to read from some one who knew Dad back in the day, Im looking for stories, photos or even more footage from The Hats old surfing mates. His famous 8' 10" yellow gun is now displayed at Scotty Dillons 'Legends Surf Museum' at Coffs. Dad was not only one of the first big wave exponents in Australia but an influencial surfboard designer and innovater but most importantly a bloody friendly bastard who could talk the pants off a seagull, anyway check out the site.
