The only thing the UN offers is a detterent to successful war planning via the elimination of the element of surprise.

Furthermore, the only reason UN resolutions were brought up before hostilities in Iraq was to placate people like yourself. If it hadn't been for the delay caused by useless resolution passing, we would have been in and done quicker. Saddam's network of terrorists only became more entrenched while we were diddling.

20+ years ago McDonalds called the police and filed criminal mischief charges against me and some friends because 2 people in the group were throwing food at each other and a couple pickles were stuck on a mirror. We didn't clean up after ourselves. I'd venture to guess that some ex-manager of the day shift is now a teacher. In case you were wondering, McDonalds dropped the charges the day before the court date.

I'm curious what he thinks he is not guilty of. Willfully attempting to destroy and wreck an aircraft? Guilty. Willfully placing a destructive device on an aircraft? Guilty. Possession of a destructive device in furtherance of a violent crime? Guilty. Attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction? Guilty. Attempted murder? Guilty.
