Do I believe that Wilhelmi had anything to do with the Cook County guys? No, I believe he didn't have anything to do with initiating the lawsuit. If you took the time to read a number of local newspaper articles, it's pretty clear that this litigation was instigated by others. Now, will he benefit from all this? Yes, of course. He now doesn't have to campaign as hard, doesn't have to spend as much money, he can save his campaign funds for another election down the road.
Let's get back to my original points; that Mr. Flynn's article is factually incorrect. His aim is to smear Mr. Wilhelmi, without presenting any facts - he eludes to things, but states nothing. This is pointless journalism, and is simply an attempt to get attention with a headline.

Do I think that the Cook County guys pressured the Will County Board? No, I hope not. What they did do was sick a bunch of lawyers on the issue and force Cedra Crenshaw off the ballott. Was there pressure on the board to decide in their favor? Again, hopefully not. I know the parties involved (on both sides) are reputable and appear to be trustworthy to the local community, it's what got them elected in the first place.
Do I believe the Cook County guys want Wilhelmi? Yes, of course they do....he's a Democrat, and he's another vote for Michael Madigan in Springfield. What does that have to do with this article?

I'm sure the Will County Democratic Organization does have a Bio on Wilhelmi, as I'm sure there are many bios out there. Anyone who researches election history in Illinois can find that he won his last election. (Hey, you can even google it.....can you figure out how do do that?)
Before you go calling people Idiots, maybe you should take a few extra minutes to get the story straight.
This entire arguement isn't even about Wilhelmi, it's about the Cook County Democrat's (Michael Madigan and others) sending attorneys to discredit Mrs. Crenshaw and force her off the ballot.
The mere fact that Mr. Flynn published a story about it without checking a few facts is where I take issue.

I'm not a troll, just typing a bit quicky this afternoon and don't have the benefit of a spell check here. You can do your own research, as Mr. Flynn should have done before publishing the article.
Other than a few typing errors, is there anything else about the way I 'present myself' that bothers you?
Thanks for taking the time to point out the errors in my post. Maybe next time you could actually post something of value?

Are you going to correct the inacurate reporting?

You state "The Machine candidate in the district, A.J. Wilhelmi, is a legacy politician who was specially appointed to the Senate seat and has never faced voters for his office"
1) Wilhelmi was initially 'appointed' whey this seat was vacated. However, he did WIN the last election with 70% of the vote - he has 'faced the voters'. (I can't believe you wouldn't have check the facts before writing this article)
2) Wilhelmi is NOT a Chicago Machine Candidate, nor is he a 'legacy politician'. He has virtually not ties to Cook County Democrats in any way, nor has ever benefitted from their support. (Maybe you could give us your definition of 'Legacy Politician' - what does that even mean?)
