The Good: i think Hailey, Wilson and Morgan were definately the highlights. they were fantastic. i absolutely loved Nite Owl 2. he was my favorite character from the comic and the film. he was awesome. i really liked his costume and thought his characterization and performance were spot on. Morgan did a good job making Comedian a sympathetic character. i really felt for the guy. Hailey was very good as well. the set design was phenomenal in my book. i loved the whole look and feel of the movie. i also like the use of music and the score. and while yes, the ending is different, it still gets the absolute terror and villainy of Ozy across. it was scary and made you despise Ozy just like the comic. the impactis the same
The Bad: Goode was very "meh" i was pretty disapointed in his performance, and Ackerman also gave a pretty bland performance. i can see why those two are getting ripped on. and i dont have a problem w/ Crudup's Dr. Manhattan, the character just came off as very boring to me. but thats is probably how Manhattan would act in real life. all montone and plain. is it just me or was the Nite Owl 2/Silk Spectre 2 sex scene aboard Archie REALLY drawn out? it was almost comical to me
overall, i would give it 3 1/2out of 4 stars. i like it alot and i will definately see it again. it acts as a great companion piece to the comic and is another great adaptation of the medium of comics being translated to film. i cant wait to add it to my dvd collection (especially the extended directors cut!) this and TDK are hands down the greatest comic book movies of all time (TDK is number 1, Watchmen number 2) . no contest!

but i hope Kevin Smith can eventually get financing together for Red State. i was really interested in seeing him do that. he also talked about doing a "space comedy" w/ Seth Rogen at one point too. id like to see that eventually as well
