I don't know if you watch the local news ever, Joel, but here's a news story about one such Hell House at odds with, surprisingly enough, another church group.

I read that same story about the kid in Kentucky with the zombie story on io9.com, and apparently that story is almost three years old, and the kid was acquitted a year later. It's still chock full of ridiculousness, either way.

With the recent success of dung heap movies like "Beverly Hills Chihuahua", do you think Hollywood is going to begin a downward spiral of making nothing but shit movies, or is this just an ebb in the general flow? Because, really? That movie was top two weeks in a row? Who the hell is going to see this crap? And what studio 'head' do I have to blow to make it stop?

(Excuse the Firefly cliche) She can kill you with her brain. THAT should be enough to overcome anything. Having said that, as much as I support the writers and their striking (insert 'Newsies' montage here), it killed this show. By the time it came back for the second season, I'd lost interest.

Aaron Douglas from BSG barely reads the entire script. He reads his part, learns his lines, and does it. And I guess expects the other actors to explain to him what the hell is going on. He's either completely brilliant, or the biggest douchebag. So the fact that he potentially gave a huge spoiler is not surprising. (If it exists on the net, try to find the BSG panel from this year's Dragon*Con. Very entertaining.)

I really like the song, but Alicia's no Shirley Bassey. And I know that I'll have a hard time not saying "One ticket for 'Quantum of Sholace, pleash". Damn you, Joel.
