I know someone who does consulting work for a famous U.S. research uni that does a lot of medical research. he said it is all about grant writing and govt money. The system is loaded with waste, fraud, shoddy research and incompetence. Real research is about #10 on the list.

These GW bullies should be prosecuted for what they did to the public and to skecptics aka real scientists. Al Gore should be sued for fraud.

I did not know about his blow up with Janet Reno. She is a despicable person. I never knew Michael was more let say libertarian and a supporter of Fred Thompson. Fred is not perfect but my heart breaks thinking about how Fred could have been our President. He always sounds like a grown up or a father telling his kids to do the right thing. It may be worse that that. The 2006 Congress thanks to CRA lawsuits by community organaziers followed by Maxine Waters, Meek, Dodd, Frank and the Cong Black caucus putting a gun to "greedy" bankers heads and telling them to lend to people who had no hope of repaying loans.

This wiped out our financial system and nothing has changed.
