I know! I'm really excited about it. I hope my nephew isn't too old and too cool for our kid. :-)
I'll happily provide my address, because I'm holding you to sending me "How the hell to raise a baby in the city" books! :-) I'll email you. :-)
Thank you for being such a support system, Andrea. I really appreciate you!
No, they don't know why. It's a blood clot between the membranes of the placenta and uterus that they "think" may happen when the egg is implanting. They think it slightly separates from the uterus causing a bleed and that blood stays trapped in there until it either absorbs into the body or bleeds out. The first one I had went undiagnosed for quite a while. We had four or five ultrasounds between doctor's visits and ER visits and none of them discovered it. It was our final ultrasound that the tech saw it. Same thing with this one. I had probably four ultrasounds before the doctor saw it, so I agree with you. I think this is a big reason a lot of women bleed, it's just hard to see so they are always told their bleeding is unexplained.
Thank you so much! It has now been a week since my positive result and I still "feel" pregnant, so I'm hopeful. I hope you guys are doing well!!!
Thank you Kim. I'm so glad Rach cyberly introduced us because you've been such a great friend. I hope you and your family are all doing well! I started a new job and have been sleeping my life away (which I think is a good first trimester sign, right?) so I've been falling behind in blog reading. I will be by to visit soon!
You know, when I think of being pregnant, I think of babies and toddlers in my future and sometimes forget how cool it will be to have teenagers too. Your recent support for your daughter and her cheerleading stuff has made me smile. You are a good dad, and I think that's so awesome.
Thank you so much! Means a lot to me. :-)
Thank you so much for sharing your story. Hearing these sorts of things make me feel better. I am hopeful my story ends the same as yours, but if not, it still gives me hope that someday we will have our baby.
Awww, I can't even imagine how cute bedtime prayer is at your house! I have to tell you, those frickin' pictures of Kyle and Camden heading to the Orioles game may have been the sweetest pictures I've seen yet!!! I adore them. Thank you so much for your thoughts. I'm one week in to discovering we were pregnant, so I'm finding optimism peeking through the clouds even more. :-)
