jailbreak my Ipad and with no result.I then decide to check on
Youtube to see if there was a video showing how to jailbreak
IOS 4.2.1
It is then i realised is was using the version 0.9.6b3 instead of
0.9.64b.I then installed Redsnow and it work'ed
For those who are more visual i suggest to take a look on Youtube
you might find what you are doing wrong

I followed your post and did the jailbreak on my Ipad.
I now have a brown Cydia and when i try to open Cydia it starts to open
but closes right away.The whole process lasts about half a second.
I tried to shut down the Ipad and redo the jailbreak and it did not help.
My internet connection is working good with Safari.I am working on Osx

I have a iPad on 3.2.1 allready jailbroken with Jailbreakme and all works fine
Should i jailbreak to Limera1n or Greenpoison now to upgrade to 3.2.2 or wait till 4.2 comes out?
If i jailbreak now how do i keep all my present apps?
