Neither you nor he worry about that pesky Constitution, particularly the part which reads: "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial . . . and to have the As.sistance of Counsel for his defense." This principal has been law since 1791, but I guess we could change it to keep you and Mr. Gov. happy. Let's make it read, "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy, unless the accused is a poor bast*rd who lost his job because some Wall Street bankers were too busy getting rich . . ."

I don't dispute that. But you said, ". . . half a world away spending trilling chasing after a crazy Libyian dictator . . ." We certainly haven't spent trillions of dollars in the past couple of weeks going after Kadhafi. Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, et al., yes, trillions.

I guess my point is this: facts matter. The debate is better when we stick to them.
