You are right. It's maddening. Purdue executed short passing play and got their qb in a groove. During Sat. game with Minnie, Bob Griese kept wondering why OSU does not put in plays that make a young qb successful...working the middle, passes to backs and te's. Why only sideline throws and deep balls.
did you like krenzel when he lost to UM and Wiski in 2003 do to some pedestrian qb'ing
good stuff as always. I spent time defending Bollman in the past...but I can't anymore. This line spent so much time on the ground, esp. Brewster. I made a point to watch Alabama-Virginia Tech because 'Bama has a rebuilt line and uses zone blocking. What a difference when the game was on the line. These guys got out, hit, drove, and took over when they had to. They don't just push people...they hit. Our line just gets in the way of the defender and they do not hit anyone. JT sees game film. OSU's lines have had the same proplems for 9 years and he does nothing. That is why the OSU fans are frustrated with JT. Sometimes a head coach has to make tough decisions regarding assistants and he is not
good read....one point you bring up is the most damaging...current players have come forward. Right or wrong this says there is a deep problem with team chemistry. Teams will not win with these problems and I smell another long season in Ann Arbor.
I was wondering where you guys have been. Glad your back. I was wondering if you had heard Brewsters comments on Bollman? They where interesting to say the least.
