Let me put it this way. . .I will watch when not in class, it isn't to bad. The fact that there is only a one person Big Deal wasn't to big for me. For my money though they could have taped this show at Television City, although Wayne probably didn't want to have to travel to far for work. The good thing about the shows hour long format is that it lets the people think more on the deals than what would have been allowed in a half hour show. IMO I would;ve pefered a LMAD, Pyramid, (and in some places) TPIR punch for daytime game shows. Ah well. . .someday.
You know I've never seen Pat play the game, only host it. So it will be interesting to see how he does. Also Chris has been a great player as evidenced from his previous game. I think he likes playing Jeopardy and as soon as he heard about this, he wanted in. I'm surprised Sam Waterson and Mariska Hargitay aren't mentioned or Richard Belzer (as with Alex I'm a L&O: SVU fan). I think it is a wonderful ploy and I'll be sure to watch.
Fraknly Jeopardy (imo) has had the best sets of any game show. Who could come close to their level of comfort. I just feel comfort watching Jeopardy because their sets are so inviting and that has always been one of the reasons they lasted so long. I can't wait to see regular play and all the Teen and College Tournements as well as Kids Week.
It looks like the Nintendo games Brain Age and WarioWare mixed together in a gameshow. It looks like a hit for Nick. . .way to go!
Nothing could be as bad as Jackie Gleason's Your in the Picture. Which had a life expectancy of one episode and required an apology from Gleason himself the following episode.
