I think this is the ultimate love and sacrifice a father can do. We should support our soldiers and learn from our mistakes. It is wonderful to see people applause our troops comming of planes at airports. This soldier should have a follow up to see how his battle plays out here in the States. His ex-father-in-law and mother-in-law supports him in his battle.
