As soon as I saw the title to this post, I said to myself....."I wonder if Zac has seen the Jimmy McMillan doll". Sure enough there it is. I have never heard of this guy until about a week ago. All of the sudden he is everywhere! I say he has great marketing skills to be able to market himself this well. Just think what he could do with a business.

Another thought. Being able to market yourself or any product like this can generate lots of $$$ fast. Even if the product alone is just a so so product, with the right marketing it could soar beyond any ones expectations!

I applaud him! Job well done. Now to read up and find out more about him and his goals once and if he wins the election. :-D

Dude, your Blog is addictive, I can always count a good read, great information and more. I use to read the news first every morning, now it's ZacJohnson.com cause I just can't wait to see what your going to post next. Thanks for keeping it interesting. Now on with my comment for the above post......

Great post! Man you are so right about the $66 per person. This year I went to all the regular places like Wal mart, Kmart, Toys-R-Us and others looking for just the right costume for my daughter. We finally wound up at a local Spirit Halloween store and found what she wanted. Wonder Woman! We spent $49.99 for the costume and after adding a few accessories we spent about $75 - $80 bucks. Wow! big market indeed. That's an awesome idea to join affiliate programs related to the seasons. I really haven't even considered it before. I'm sure my brain will be working overtime tonight coming up with a site then working the rest of week to join some programs.

Thanks Zac!

They may reset their cookies everyday? That would make every visit act like a new visit. Also, they may be unaware that their computers are set to delete cookies during an overnight update. This is only thing I can figure is causing it.

IMO if your going to let things on facebook bother to the point of suicide, then you need to delete your account and not visit the site. The site is a public site. All information you post there is pretty much open to everyone. If you don't want people knowing about your private stuff then don't put it on the internet.

As for advertising I like Facebook for the use of ads and promoting. I can reach a lot of people.

The popup does for me exactly as Zac says. About every 15 days. If it did come up everyday it wouldn't be that big of a bother, I'd just close it out and continue. I don't see it as an issue.

Yep good point Art (brother :-D) & Zac. I use to be in insurance sales making cold calls all day and night. That burnt me out big time on phone usage. No more phones for me! I too, like to use email when contacting someone one on one. And blogging is a GREAT way to connect with the masses. When using either method you have time to think about what your saying and you can structure writing/words to actually grab attention!

To me sales calls are just that, a plain old sales call that no one wants to hear. I've met some people that can talk a person head off........ugggh! bores me. Send me a good email or text, and you've not only got my attention.

And your right about needing to make it worth the big guys time if you want them to promote or even look at your product. Gifting is a great idea. You can be very creative in this area as well. If someone took the time to send me a gift that they had actually put thought into it would go a long way with me. Zac you said it best when you said, "even something simple or cheap". It's the thought and effort that went into the gift that makes a great gift.

My website is all about my passion World of Warcraft and Second Life, which are 2 awesome games. WoW for fun and SL is fun and business site. I've had so much fun with these games and learned a lot of stuff that will be in my books.
