I think we all realised with Planet of the Apes that you can't successfully re-make a movie with a surprise ending.

and didn't Morpheus say in The Matrix that the date was just a guess. and we found out in Reloaded that the events happened over and over again numerous times

i wouldn't be surprised if some executive read this list and we saw announcements about remakes.

also, Top Gun is being re-made???!!

Jason Patric, Sleepers is a great movie, and Geronimo is severely underrated. Let's all forget Speed 2 exists and give this guy another chance.

Travolta's career has been so bad that I sometimes forget he played Vinnie Vega, and I watch Pulp Fiction at least a few times a year.

I would say the best way to look at this is, how many movies have they done that people would want to own and will watch again.

Travolta's career can be boiled down to 4 movies, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Pulp Fiction, and Get Shorty. I would say everything else he has done is easily forgotten.

Denzel on the other hand, almost all of his movies are re-watchable. Beyond that, Denzel takes mediocre movies and makes them enjoyable, like Fallen and John Q.

So while Travolta may have 4 movies that are more prominant in the pop culture, that is all he has. If a movie of his comes on tv and it isn't one of those four movies, I'm turning it off (truthfully, i'm turning off Grease and SNF too, but you get what I mean). But if a movie with Denzel comes on, the chances are I'm going to keep watching.

I was going to write almost the exact same thing. I am really looking forward to this movie.

I think I have to watch this movie again, because the first time I saw it, I hated it, I thought it was boring and droned on. But the last time I watched it was when I was about 13, so maybe now I might enjoy it. After reading this post, I think I will give it another chance.

He is part of the Avengers in the comics, the die-hards would go crazy if he isn't included.
