Figures this happened in the south, they are the most paranoid about the terrorists escaping. Now we know why. I know people from Arkansas, and they are great people, but fix your system and stop embarrasing the rest of our country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the lawyer comments, they tend to lose their souls, not all of them though. I am just saying, I would not have been ok with what happened. However, I would never let that happen to me and demand that the SPD, the agency that covers that jurisdiction to be there. The county sheriffs are there for unincorporated parts of the county or to be contracted by the cities, not to be in a major city. There are enough COPS. Philly is a dangerous city, but you do not have SHERIFFS OR STATE TROOPERS there, COPS, FOLLOW THE LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Innocent people run from the law if they think the law is just a cover to commit a crime. Wonder if you live in a city, or out in the country? I do feel sorry for the officer though, as abusive as county police can get, I do not think he wanted to permanently ruin this guy medically. That is his guilt. At least the guy in Texas resigned over that hospital stop, and I think this guy should do the same. BTY, what ever happened to using a taser on this guy.

Hey, unless this was at a transit stop, why the hell are transit cops patroling seattle streets. That is the job of the SEATTLE POLICE DEPARTMENT. The sheriffs had a choice, they are always known to be more aggressive, and abusive to rights of citizens, and the media needs to stop kissing up to the police all the time and have them have some accountability. An inquest will never do anything in WA, NEVER HAS!!!!!! ANother comment, black uniforms in the dark in an area of crime. SERIOUSLY, go back to the SPD uniforms that they used to wear as transit cops. I would run too, right to a seattle police officer. AS I SAID IN MY COMMENT, IF I AM EVER STOPPED BY A COUNTY SHERIFF AND I KNOW I AM IN A CITY LIMIT PATROLLED BY CITY COPS, I WILL USE MY LEGAL RIGHT TO DEMAND THE LOCAL POLICE SHOW UP, AND A SUPERVISOR, you as a citizen have this right. IF NOT, I WILL ASK FOR A STATE TROOPER TO SHOW UP. WE NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD!!! I do not trust county police, ANYWHERE IN THE US!!

Ever have a relative with the cancer this woman had. What if she lived a full life and was ready to die, which everyone will do anyway. Doctors are wrong more often than not, but do not disrespect this woman´s decision. Read the law and you will see it takes more than one doctor, there are safeguards. So the answer to your question about mis-diagnosis is YES. Death is NATURAL, it is part of the universal cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We may not agree on the law, but I respect the fact you understand what this woman was going thru, and respect the fact you are honest in your opinon. THumbs up. I take it you are a good person, see my comment below, I know a thing or 2 about this type of cancer. I do agree that this law is NOT to be taken lightly though, and if used, should be used sparingly, and for situations like this.

Rip Linda. I am glad your family was able to be there for you. I am also glad you had the choice as to when you did not want to suffer anymore. I could not be there when my godfather died of the same thing, and they have no death with dignity where he lives. He survived longer than average, but it was very painful and very undeserving. Life is not fair and I hope you got to live it to the fullest.

There used to be a time when the king county transit police in seattle wore SEATTLE POLICE UNIFORMS. Maybe they should go back to that and keep the Sherrifs department where they belong, in the woods with the rednecks. I am sorry, but in my police encounters, I have had professional encounters by state troopers, professional, if wordy encounters by city cops. IT IS THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT that tend to HARASS and to be AGGRESSIVE. They will even follow a person jaywalkling into a restaurant bathroom at 1:30 in the morning and wait for them to finish their business. It happened to me. If I EVER GET STOPPED BY A DEPUTY IN SEATTLE; it is your right, and I WILL ask that a SEATTLE POLICE OFFICER OR SUPERVISOR show up on the scene. In some states, they do not even have county sheriffs, except to do court or jail related functions, maybe we should do that here in Washington, since most of the police wrongdoings or abuse of power comes from the SHERIFFS department!!!!!!!!!! BTY, I have no criminal record. I obey the law, but have had traffic stops.

DUMB MOVE, eating a plastic bag. Eat the pot, that I can see, but when you try to eat the bag, you are asking for trouble, and why do we arrest people for pot anyway, other than the fact that the law which is outdated says it is illegal!!!

I will say this, Lynnwood is another place with cameras everywhere. I wonder if I stick my middle finger up at the cameras, what law that would break. I do have a first amendment right, and this is how I will excersize this right, unless that is gone too. I am done arguing this. I will just find every loophole possible, and if I do ever get accused of anything, deny I was driving, how can they prove otherwise if you really are innocent until proven guilty. Also, there is a thing call jurisdiction. If a camera borders another town, and the neighboring town police pulls you over, if they are on the wrong side of the street, you win in court. If it is a state route that the state troopers or county are supposed to patrol, go for that, and suppena*mispelled the hell out of law enforcement. THe most the courts can do is NOT lower your fine, we just have to fight back harder for the simple stuff I think they are really after. As for the real criminals, Your BURNT, IT IS OVER!!
