Can I kick you in the head once you are in cufs? No. But things can move pretty fast in the real world. How do I know your attack is over? Was that glitter? Was it a weapon? Is it a diversion? I must act now to stop your attack. I have no foreknowledge of what weapons you may posses or your intentions. So I think Father Everett has a valid point.

I am just saying that the GPS spoofing claims are false.
The possibility of spoofing or jamming an airborne military GPS receiver is pretty close to 0. IMO.
P.S. My use of the word "Exactly" was over the top, "In Detail" would have been a better choice.
P.P.S. Feels spooky to me.

As an engineer I know "Exactly" how GPS works and the protections it has for anti-jam and anti-spoof. The story that the Iranians somehow where able to trick a military grade GPS based flight management system into landing in the wrong place is pure fiction. The drone more likely had some kind of failure and went down. Of all the nations we are the only one in a position to alter the coordinates or deny availability of this critical system but we cannot because we allow civilian access and many systems depend on it for precise timekeeping (cell towers).

Oh Yea :-) How come they get to drive a float on public streets? I assume floats are not licensed road worthy vehicles in the normal sense. I never saw one pass me on the freeway for instance. If this is true then why give them a pass? I do however agree with you about the title being misleading.
