Not so true anymore, while traditional CDMA and GSM networks are in the 1800-1900Mhz band's newer LTE like Verizon's in particular is at 700Mhz and has much better "penatrive" capability. For instance I work in the belly of an extremely secure building that is made of 1-3ft thick reinforced concrete. I am 100-150ft from any outer wall of the building and I get perfect 4g LTE service and speed. 3G on the otherhand is non exhistant in my office.

Becasue KOMO is anti gun, and a bit too liberal in that and believe this guy should fry for defending himself, the guy is innocent, has been will be etc. To me this chick just seems to want her 15 minutes of fame and may have even been been paid by martin's family/lawyers to try and tarnish zimmerman's persona even more.

Unfortunately for Zimmerman, he'll never face a fair trial due to the media's misleading informaiton and lack of reporting of the fact's and only reporting the rumor's and sensational B.S. they knew would stir up a frenzy. This is not a race story, its simply a story of a man who shot and killed another man attacking him. The media and the dead criminal's famly decided to try and blow it all out of proportion, turn it into a race thing etc. It's just sad really. The parent's should be ashamed of themselve's as they done nothing but drag their criminal son's name even more into the mud and make themselves look like the greedy ignroant idiot's that they are.

Still doesn't give the idiot the righ tto try to break someone's door down and make them feel as though their life is threatened. The homeowner acted correctly and within his lawful right's, in fact he gave the guy 2 chance's to leave. Most of us armed homeowner's wouldn't even do that in this situation.

I understand they are "sworn" into duty, however per the supreme court police in the US are not constituionally required to protect anyone. They cannot be held liable if for instance you're in a an alley screaming for help while being mugged and they just walk on by like nothing is happening. Don't believe me look it up.

it is what it is, but we as citizen's are naive and stupid to think for one second that the Police are going to "protect" any of us. That's not their job, the SCOTUS has dicitated as such.

Unsure, I would assume at this point to investigate and aprehend, let's face it, most police work is after a crime happens, how many time's do you see a headline that read's "Police shoot intruder as he breaks into someones home" vs. "Homeowner shoot's would be theif breaking into his home" As for the ruling here's and article that explains it more from the NY Times.....

Officer's are not sworn to protect according to a supreme court ruling several years ago. hence why you no longer see "to protect and serve" on squad car's anymore.

Yeah I caught that right away, instead of the truth like "a law abiding gunowner" or a "lawfully armed citizen" instead it's "gun toting homeowner" It's like how the Orlando Sentinal said that Zimmeran own's a "cop killer" gun "that can penetrate body armor" in reference to an FN 5.7 as you said nothing more than anti gun liberal media
