True enough and I say this continually. I also recall my grandparents saying our generation wasn't worth a darn and they dreaded us being in charge; it’s come full circle.

With millions of tax dollars being spent and road safety on the line, I’m extremely grateful that KOMO is able and willing to monitor just what the DOT and their contractors are doing. From your comment I sense that you take issue with oversight of people and projects, I hope you find someplace where the “Good Old Boy” standard is still in place and anything goes. But, I believe communities that still use the "Good Old Boy” system to be fewer and farther between, with greater numbers the taxpayers are insisting on accountability and oversight is just another method to insure accountability.

Wait a minute; Hammond told us this was just a “Fluke” why should anyone be reprimanded or suspended for a “Fluke”. Not that I’m monitoring this, but it seems to me that Paula continues to cover things up or minimizes events that transpire within the transportation department or transportation projects. Note to Paula; tell us the truths, the whole truth, the citizens of this great state are mature enough to handle it.
