I think this is a very good idea. =) I have a good experience myself, going from 340lbs. (48 inch waist) to 180 lbs. (32 inch waist) if you'd like to hear. It was a long process, and I'm gonna write a book on it.

WOW! This note is teeming with profound and life challenging statements. It's hard to narrow it down to one-big take away. What spoke to me the loudest had to be the idea of life is a tension between the opposites. We're too busy trying to not be too good nor too bad so we remain stagnantly in the middle. That is a very boring and unfulfilled existence. The live life to the fullest we must go back and forth between the two sides of light and dark. As Osho so beautifully put it:

“Don’t avoid the extremes, and don’t choose any one extreme.”

If you choose one extreme, the we'll fall as if being on a tightrope.

Excellent note again Brian. You're an awesome individual for bringing this information to all of us. =)

Take care.

Awesome note as usual, very inspiring. =) My biggest take away would have to be the idea of Float. We're too busy waiting for everything to sink, if we think it will then it will. We are co-creators on this earth, why always create the worse outcome then. Let's make our ideas float and expect the best outcome. There is no such thing as failure. Let's be consistent to prove failure wrong.

I really like your exercise about wallowing for 15 mins and then you're done. Good exercise. Let's all compassionately interrupt our habits.

Also, I saw that you started the Strength for Life program. Trust me, it works. Doing the program myself I lost 60 lbs. It's the best program out there, and will give you the best results if followed to the letter. It truly is a transformation. The 12 weeks will go by really quick, enjoy every one. You can do it! =)

This is the same thing that resonated with me. Sometimes we're too busy teaching everyone else the lessons we need to learn ourselves.

Here's to taking off the professor cap, and taking notes for our own lectures.

My biggest take away has to be Zero-Based thinking. I never really thought to approach my life like this, and it make perfect sense. Identify, ask myself would I be doing this again if I started over knowing what I know now, and if yes devise a way to stop doing it. It's so simple, and makes perfect sense.

My biggest take away is Carpe Punctum: Seize the Moment. It's better to give your best moment by moment rather than trying to give day by day. Is it better to seize key moments in the day or the entire day? I beileive it is better to seize key moments in the day.

My biggest Take away has to be: Don't Stall.

"The pain that’s created by avoiding hard work is actually much worse than any pain created from the actual work itself."

This is totally true and I have experienced it many times. The best thing to do is jump into it. Just do it!

Holy Moley! Here I was pretty much reading the way it describes in the book, and I was being pinned as lazy. Boy, were they wrong. It's great to find someone who thinks the same way. Concentrate on efficiency and practicality. What is going to give you the most return for the least amount of effort? It's so simple.

My biggest AH HA would have to be the logic behind why you should be rich. It makes perfect sense. No one can live up to their highet potential when they're not rich. You're too busy taking care of the basics, food, shelter, clothing, etc., that you do not have time to explore who you really are.
