People who write these glowing articles about how ME is the greatest scifi story of our generation mention almost no actual scifi (usually none at all), and don't understand what scifi means. They also don't know anything about writing and storytelling.

ME is not scifi, it's a space opera. It's not equivalent to Clarke, Asimov, Lem or the Strugatsky brothers.
