Have you been paying attention for the past 42 years? Plenty of people have spoken out in that time. Did you even know who Jean McConville was two years ago? Did you ever speak out against the killers of Patrick Rooney? Do you know who he was? He was shot by a machine gun in Divis in 1969, at age 9. But his killers were British soldiers so they get a free pass. What an indictment of our society.
It happened 42 years ago. Accusations about him being involved have been around for years. He said more than a month ago that he was willing to meet with the PSNI. Why didn't they pick him up the next day? Why wait five weeks? These people making accusations won't even talk to the police.
