like i said, we haven't actually seen what's on display in this woman's office - we're only going on anonomouse's impression of it. are pictures of ground zero glorifying 9-11? pictures of destruction can be memorials or reminders that what is happening is wrong.
it's unlikely i'll never need to 'negotiate' (although i'm not sure mass murder/ethnic cleansing is technically 'negotiation') with palestinians as i'm not attempting to systematically wipe them out or drive them from their country.

this woman (the secretary) shouldn't be glorifying violence (if that is the case - the fact that she's in israel working on a project to 'show the world that palestinians and israelis can work together' suggests that Anonomouse had a way over the top knee-jerk response to something far less extreme than he's painted it) but selena's nailed the reality of the situation. israel is persecuting palestinians as they themselves were persecuted - as has been pointed out with regard to polanski, surely people who have suffered such horrors as the holocaust should have the compassion not to inflict violence on others less powerful than themselves.

Whoopi Goldberg is an idiot. She was getting the details of the issue through an earpiece AS she was telling the other panelists that they were being unclear on the details, and that it upset her that people were being passionate about something without knowing the details - what? While openly receiving her info-feed of the most basic facts of the case AS she spoke? This stuff is beyond parody.
