I can say one thing for sure... his biggest mistake was going into the one place most people wouldn't be caught dead in! Yikes!

But you fail to take into account that when the people vote they do so based on personal beliefs and opinions... not the constitution and the law, which is what our Supreme Court Judges are put in place to do.

Which is still small time compared to what was taken from us during the previous administrations 8 years in office.

I for one, appreciate the fact that the government is stepping in to stop the public from getting ripped off. This is one of those situations where the government has the interest of the public in mind, instead of that of big business. It's a nice change.

You're an idiot too. As if I need to prove anything... but I've not been unemployed since I was a freshmen in college.

Yes, I have a degree. I put myself through college, pay my taxes, don't collect food stamps or unemployment... and I pay my own insurance.

I wonder what the criteria is for requiring approval for a comment? I've tried to comment twice on this story today. The first comment never showed up, the second said it needed admin approval and hasn't been posted either. Yet I've commented on other stories on KCRG today and they have shown up just fine... What gives KCRG?

"you buy certain water filters, Iowa has its OWN card inside stating they wont cover the filter."

This is exactly right... the reason? Because water filters are designed to remove natural impurities like bacteria and minerals, not chemical compounds. This is why for a long time, you could not buy backpacking water filtration systems in Iowa... because they weren't rated to make water from Iowas waterways safely potable.

I support our farmers but I have to agree with Mr. Langgin on this one. In no way should a group be in charge of their own oversight. It's common knowledge to any of those who have ever used any of our waterways that the agriculture industry is responsible for the vast majority of pollutants flowing down stream. To me... this would be like putting BP at the forefront of oversight on oil drilling. No thanks...
