I've read your posts about how you believe your brother was murdered. If that is the case, I will happily retract my statement about him being a coward. I know you want to get your story out there, but the Lars Larson show is NOT the place to do it. Try local news stations, KATU, KGW, etc. Lars Larson is entertainment (and I use that term loosely), not the place for news to break. If your story is true, the local news stations will jump to broadcast your side of the story. Larson is explotative media at it's worst. Please rethink your venue.

I'm sorry you lost your brother and family members. My heart goes to you and I wish for you peace. However, even if he did not murder his family and set the house on fire (I would be SHOCKED if not the case) suicide is the most cowardice thing one could do. I stand by my statement.

I expected this to be a story about how the parents refused to name the sex of their child so they could let the child decide what gender it is (I think that is RIDICULOUS), but I'm glad to see that I was wrong. Having three boys who all gravitate towards trucks and football, I can't really relate to having to parent a boy who wants to wear makeup and tutus, but I am glad they support the kid in what makes him happy. I thought a nice quote was "We're not asking people to approve of our family. We’re asking people to accept these children as children and as humans," Lisa said. You can't really argue with that.

Smoke and stink bombs were literally daily occurrences at my high school (also in the Salem/Keizer School District) 20 years ago and no one did a thing about it. Heck, someone even let off mace (the real stuff, not pepper spray) in our library and it was no big deal, we just had to leave the library for a few minutes until it dissapated.

Odd that the trend toward this hypervigilant security is tightening. Seems like we're moving backward rather than forward? I don't know.

My thought too. Makes a lot of noise, especially in a gym garbage can where it would echo. Wouldn't do much by way of blowing up the school, but enough to make an immature high school student giggle that everyone is sent home because of it.

Thank you for that update. GLAD to hear they didn't see what happened. Hope they didn't hear either. I lost both my parents very young. They have a tough road ahead, but they do have each other. Thoughts with them.

This is awful My heart goes out to those kids, even if they weren't related to the couple. PTSD is a horrible thing to live with. I hope they get help
