Answer, because we have a more savy electorate who votes based on the pocketbook. The far left in Canada are in the NDP party and will never take power here. We vote based on our economics not ideology. Also, to gain power requires the most seats in Parliment, and if a MP is against the electorates ideals and what got the ruling party into power, the leader of the party, the Prime Minister, can kick that member out of the party and refuse party support in the next election. Don`t piss off the electorate and you stay in power. Piss them off enough, and you will be the official opposition. Thats what happened to the Liberal party.

NOW you get it. Of course they hate you. They are babies who's teet isabout to be taken away from them for good, so they are now screaming and throwing a fit. But wait for it. It IS going to get worse. MUCH worse.
The attacks and small local occurrences of violence will escalate, without the MSM reporting it, until a MAJOR occurrence of violence happens, and it WILL happen. Then there will be a brief period of "surprise" at the incident, but no reflection back on how the event may have been caused by any rhetoric or physical violence previously.
The 60 radical side is going to start coming out soon in their tactics, because that is their only play left in the playbook, and that is when it will get very bad. Please remember the acceptance of Bill Ayers, without a qualm, by the left. He blew stuff up and they idolize him, so one of the left will want to emulate old Bill, and just like Bill, blow
stuff up and quantify it with the need to fight the "oppressors" of their beliefs.
I have over twenty years of security, counter insurgency, and counter terrorism experience. The liberals are getting "hot" in mob psycodynamic terms. The are exhibiting anger in a general direction (the Tea Party, Republicans, Conservatives) and not a specific target, while also using increasingly violent rhetoric. Add to this, the types of groups using the most vile of rhetoric are also the groups considered more physically militant or violent of the lefts base. These two factors lead to rioting and general destruction of private property if they can't get their way. Case in point: Wisconsin.
Finally, remember the left think emotionally, not logically. What makes them "feel" good is Holy, whatever makes them "feel" bad is Evil. So belief in the lefts ideas and ideals by the left is Holy, criticism of those same ideas and ideals by the right, since it makes the left feel "bad", is therefore Evil.
NOW, go back over the last 9 weeks and start fitting the stories into the above posting. It's about to get a WHOLE lot worse.

Governor General
Queen's representative in Canada and Canada's de facto head of state. (The Queen is the official head of state.)
Before 1926, the Governor General acted as the representative of the British government in Canada.
Until the 1950s, the Governor General was always British. Since then, the post has alternated between an English-Canadian and a French-Canadian.
DUTIES
The Governor General's duties, which are largely ceremonial, include:
Representing the Crown and ensuring there is always a prime minister.
Acting on advice of prime minister and cabinet ministers to give royal assent to bills passed in the Senate and House of Commons.
Signing state documents.
Reading throne speech.
Presiding over swearing-in of prime minister, chief justice and cabinet ministers.
Don't see the part where the Governor General can dissolve the government and take over. Must have missed that class.
