I understand you lost someone close to you. But really why is it anyones fault? More less the state. When you hike you take the chase in being hurt or killed by a wild animal. Carry a gun!!

She's scared to death. Some of those smiling pictures are when she see's her family. Remember she was only 20. I don't know one 20 year old who makes ALL the right choices. SET AMANDA FREE!

I'm sorry your child/sister died. My heart hurts for you. I also don't believe Amanda did this to your daughter. I believe she(Amanda) is a victim also. I have a daughter the same age as yours. I know what she was like at 20. Young and not thinking of the what if's. Merideth will never be forgotten but Amanda will not either. Both girls were victims in this crime. How could Amanda really have done the crime and leave NO evidence???? She isn't that smart. Wouldn't you fight for your child if the shoe was on the other foot? Wouldn't you want justice for her is she was being accused of something she didn't do? I know my words wont give you peace but please understand there is always two sides to every story. Find peace in knowing your child loved you very much and remember all the good times you had with her. She will never be forgotten you in your heart.
She isn't a bad girl. She was young and dumb in another country with no support what 20 year old makes all the right choices. She made some mistakes in judgement but she didn't kill the young lady. She isn't smart enough NOT to leave any evidence. let her come home.

I've watched this case from the very beginning. These two kids didn't do this. They have no evidence. NEVER DID! As for the Amanda she was young and dumb and never understood (well in the beginning) what was really happening to her and her actions proved that. I feel so sorry for all involved. I'm sorry for the young girl who was killed and so very sorry for her family. They will never know what happened to their young darling girl. Sad all around.
