If you've decided to skip church the night before (late night, sleep-deprived) but then you wake up naturally with plenty of time to get everyone going, don't skip.
If you wake up late, and everyone's whining and they can't find their church shoes, don't skip. (My girls always manage to find them, as I tell them "I guess you'll just have to wear your Nikes to church, then"---somehow the church shoes magically appear)
If you are sick of church, don't like "what's going on lately, " are thinking of changing churches, definitely don't skip.
If you don't mind going to hell, then it's OK to skip. jk

Wait til you read the book! Yes, the blog is great, and entertaining, and many times, deep. But the book will blow you away---
You will laugh until you cry, (and you will cry legitimate crying too)_--- the book is a tour de force.

True---- it's a commandment, but it is a NEW TESTAMENT commandment. It is the one that sums up all the law, in a New Testament comtext, so it is complete grace rather than OT "Law."

Agree. I would add to Blair's post, God loves all of his children. *Especially* you. He loves to leave behind the 99 to go find that one.
