Hi all,
Just got iPad 3G on 3.2.2, what is the safest way to jailbreak it, can I do it with star ( wasn't here since jailbreak me.com ) :)

Well.. To be honest I don't upgrade just like that.
I upgraded from 3.1.3 to 4.0.1 because there was big diference. But If I get only game center, I am just not sure does it worth to take that risk. I mean it's os 4.x and my phone works just perfect.
Maybe when I see improvements on 4.2, I'll do it.

I got 3GS on 4.0.1, ul and jb... Working great :)
I didn't understand what would I get with upgrading on 4.1? I don't need game center, and HDR is for iphone4. Is there anything else worth of upgrading?

Thanks 41willys, I know about TU, it's convenient to have them on cydia. I use few computer I'm not sure anymore where I got them.

Hi all,
I got 3GS on 4.0.1, jb with star and in past few days Cydia doesn't show info about saved blobs.
I'm just worried do I still got them on cydia.
anyone knows something about it?

Actually I think that you can upgrade to 4.0 ( not 4.1) using blobs saved through tinyumbrella. You also have to download ipsw file 4.0 for 3GS ( not 4.0.1, because you have blobs for 4.0 on TU). Good news is that 4.0 you can jailbreak 4.0 and unlock your phone with ultraslow. Many posts here how to do all of that, and u got tutorial on iclarified.

Battery issue again...
Yesterday I upgraded my 3gs to 4.0.1, jb and ul, don't have battery drainage on stand by, but when using it, drops down really fast... Like 4-5% in 30 mins. No background apps, wifi on, 3G off, SBSettings... Was just browsing web and cydia.
Maybe it's just me , reading all this battery issue posts, now I don't take my eyes off battery meter. :)

Finally managed to upgrade to 4.0.1, jb worked, ul worked perfectly ... Thanks to all that helped me ... Really :)
But tried to install SBSettings and it stopped on half of downloading... So Cydia is frozen. Is there a way to reboot cydia or i have to restore iPhone. Closing and opening cydia doesn't have any effect .
