Would any of these mobile food vendors be willing to feed a hungry homeless person who has no money?

A snowfall such as this once again points out the need for an adequate homeless people's day center, one with room for more than just 25 occupants at a time like Bridge House (formerly Carriage House), per order of the Boulder Fire Marshal. Wait -- how about keeping Boulder Shelter for the Homeless open as a day center 7 days a week? Plenty of space, a TV room, showers, kitchen and dining room, etc. Of course, it's located in north Boulder, far away from Pearl Street Mall, Boulder Creek Path, and University Hill; lots of citizens might consider this an advantage if it cuts down on the number of homeless people hanging out in the downtown Boulder area. I simply want a safe place for the homeless to go!

This ought to be named "Fraud 2.0" because that's clearly what Boulder's Climate Action Plan has been from the start. More feel good nonsense for the elites.

Of course the homeless use the Main Library on Arapahoe as a de facto day center -- Bridge House (formerly Carriage House) a few blocks away only has a capacity of 25 occupants, by order of the Boulder Fire Marshal, and is completely inadequate to the task facing it.

The solution? Keep Boulder Shelter for the Homeless at 4869 N. Broadway open as a day center 7 days a week -- plenty of room there, plus a TV, showers, etc.

Affordable groceries for the masses! If Trader Joe's can deliver that here in Boulder, CO -- more power to 'em. The working poor and middle class can't pay $10/pound for organic carrots fertilized with animal waste and picked by folks making slave wages.

I'm white, and I understand what Gingrich meant just as well as columnist Pitts does. Lots of racists in lily-white Boulder, CO.

These two fat cats, Benson and DiStefano, would be overpaid if they were making the minimum hourly wage.

It's a fraud, perpetrated by the 1% in Boulder, who know darn good and well that their Climate Action Plan is DOA due to all of the working poor and middle class folks who must commute to their jobs here, since housing in Boulder for them is unaffordable. Never mind the 900+ homeless people on the streets.

Boulder City Council and their puppetmasters, the PLAN-Boulder elites, are living in an alternate reality -- safe from all of the hard knocks being suffered by the 99% on a daily basis.

It's the most corrupt municipal government in America today.
