Katie..you are WRONG if you think school janitors have no real influence over the children. My husband is the custodian at an elementary school and he treats the kids better than some of the teachers. Think about what you said.

I know it is really easy to go online without identifying yourself and complain...have any of you given a thought to all the good the district does? Have any of you thought that Dr. Apostle is a good man? Most of you have never even met the guy but here you are bashing him. Have any of you realized how many of our teachers are recognized nationwide for their outstanding work? Did any of you know the district just received their ninth PERFECT AUDIT in a row? No...I thought not.

So..unless you are willing to put in the time to be elected to the school board...or go get an education that would qualify you to be a principal...or a superintendent ...just let it go and get on with your life!

As far as the trip being cancelled...why didn't one of you men step up and volunteer? The students that were on the trip have parents don't they? If you all think it was okay to go against the decision that he not go along...why didn't one of you take a few days off work to go?

As always the public do not know all the facts. I know Ken said he has all the facts...but the district has not made the information public and I did not see a billboard out there where Mr. Brittain posted what was going on.

This is a sad day..sad that the public is in such an uproar when they do not have all the facts. If Mr. Brittain wanted you all to know his business he would let you know. We do not know what went in to the decision for him to resign.

He is a very popular man....a good man...but he also has to follow policy and if policy says he has to run the school during his paid time and not teach a class then that is what he should do. If the district said he was not to go on the trip then he should not have.

The ones of you that are employed....are you allowed to do what you want on work time and ignore the job you were hired to do?

The timing depends on how long the lawyers..notice that is plural..one for each side...drags it out.
Do you work for the district? If not why would you think you know all the facts...

You and I talked on the phone in October of 1998 when you were first diagnosed with your tumor. I had brain surgery in January of that year and we shared the same doctor. I could hear how scared you were on the phone and I prayed for you. Each time I think of you I imagine you standing in a white light, bathed in blessings.

While my two tumors are gone for good I am now undergoing treatment for a very rare disease which is non- malignant lymphoma .As we both know....benign doesn't mean it will be an easy road.

I know exactly what you mean...you are not a disease nor are you sick. You are you with a crooked smile!

Hang in there girl....you have so many people praying for you.

Very cute...but...why would they deliver these babies a whole month early....and most physicians would not plan a delivery like this at midnight....so obviously they were in it for the publicity.

The woman who was 'intruded upon' in this story is my niece. She is bruised and battered but doing ok. Thank you to all of you who helped her today-her family appreciates your kindness.
