I always thought someones faith was a personal thing, so why the need to advertise?
Mr Ballantine clearly didn't have a problem following the accepted rules and his friends didn't take offense at them. As always there will be a vocal bunch willing to cry persecution at any opportunity.
The same bunch who enjoy putting up signs like "Prepare to meet thy maker" to distract drivers on country roads.

Smells like bull to me. Any evidence to back that up?

Did the BT run this article just so they could use the word 'apoplectic'.
Methinks someone was having a flick through the dictionary and just had to find somewhere to use it.

Many people don't have a choice as to whether or not they would work for a company that chooses to monitor everything they do. Similarly the contracts that employees are required to sign are written in legalese akin to software agreements that are only intelligible to those with a legal degree.

Maskey condemned the attack, but sure lets have a wee dig at him anyway.
A local politician, the press and ambulance crews were there, so should the police have been. That was the point he made.

Do these 'dissident' scumbags really think this is the way to achieve a united Ireland? They do a great disservice to republicanism and those they claim to represent. Their actions are those of a criminal gang intent on ruling their areas by intimidation and fear (a la UVF) whilst using 'Brits out' and a United Ireland as red herrings to disguise the simple fact they are gangsters. You contribute NOTHING positive to our society. P!ss off, we don't want you!

I thought that was obvious, from BinL1d's comment. The refusal of Loyalist politicians (specifically Billy H ) to acknowledge criminality within their own supporters.

So Jim Allister has dealt with the real issues his constituents face and now its time for some comic relief. If that is the case then fair enough, but I suspect this is another case of waste of space politicians wasting time and our money on frivolity.
