I much prefered the" Kitchen Survivors Guide" title to "Ten dollar Dinners". I think the title puts boarders on what Melissa can cook. She has to much skill and Cooking Knowledge to put her in those limitations. With food costs soaring the way they are these days why would you put her in a box like that FNW do you want her show to fail? The title is a turn off to anyone who might even consider watching her show.
As for Jeffery I liked him and the way he cooked however, he is a Bobby Flay wanna be! Every thing he makes has to have HOT spicy ingrediants in it. Not everyone can eat it and many don't like super hot spicy food.
It seems like every one on FNW, is leaning toward spicing things up so that they have the "Feel The Burn" Flavor,
Please Change the name of her show back to what Elton Brown and Melissa came up with originally. It was definately more appealing!

I hope you are right! I would love to see Jeffery have a "Runner up" show. As for Sandra Lee, she may be doing a "budget Meals" show but her other show left me feeling like "Right! Who can afford to spend all that money on "Table scapes" certainly not me!" I also agree about Melissa her food and tips are something I can use for myself and my family (grandchildren included). Thanks for saying what I'm sure thousands of people are thinking!

I am extremely excited and happy at Melissa's win. Her show will be so helpfull to so many!
It was sad that one of them had to lose. Jeffery is awesome as well, though he cooks way to spicy for me, I would have loved to watch his show as well!
Just one question, Why would FNW give a show to an ex-olympic skater and throw away a talented chef like Jeffery? What are they thinking? When I saw the ad last night I was in disbelief. Adam Gertler became a "runner Up" and has his own show. Why not Jeffery?

If they both can't win then it needs to be Melissa who does! Jeffery is great, however he tends to cook very spicy foods. A lot of people cant eat that kind of spice and young kids dont and won't eat it!

I totally agree! That is why I am hoping Melissa wins! She doesn't Make food that is so hot people can't eat it. Even Paula Dean is now leanining toward making super spicy foods. Melissa cooks for the normal family with kids and grand kids. We need a show with a chef who does that!

Kevin, I totally agree with you! It has been done before and these two have worked hard enough to prove that point! I love Melissa, she cooks "normal" food. Jeffery tends to cook very spicy foods. Do we really need another Bobby Flay? Never the less I think That they both deserve a show of their own.

After Thinking and thinking about our 2 finalists I would really love to see them both win. I know it has happened before with Adam Gertler. Melissa and Jeffery are both awesome chefs! It was done before , why cant they both win?
