The word that I used to summarize my reaction to the passage of the health bill is "enslaved". Enslaved is exactly what you and I, our children, their children, their children's children and generations beyond are going to be in order to pay for this coverage. The bill is estimated to cost $940 billion with a B. Where is that money going to come from? That's right - taxpayers' pockets. We are putting ourselves in tremendous national debt and we will be enslaved to that debt, serving dollars instead of serving our Lord.

I work in the health insurance industry and have for 25 years. I am very much in favor of providing affordable, good quality health care for everyone. I just don't believe that enslaving generations to come is the way to do it.
