The way it goes is this: If any of the tracks in the game "build up" at any point, then the rippable track is the most "built-up" version there is. Take the Tower of Spirits staircase for example; without disabling any of the MIDI channels, you've only got the full staircase music. We can't disable the channels, so that's all we can provide.
The same goes for the dark realm music :P... and the same for the overworld music (people have asked about going in reverse, etc).
Oddly enough, The Great Eye in the Dark and Approaching Phytops are two totally different scores, even though they don't sound like it. That was just lucky for us, I suppose!
